1971 Harley-Davidson
FX SuperGlide

4 Stroke
1200 cc (74 cu. in.)

The cylinders on a 1971 FX were originally painted silver.  At some point in time, these were painted black.  I have removed them for refinishing as well as the tappet blocks.  You will notice the cam cover has been removed as well.  This bike sat for a very long time.  I thought it would be best to remove the cam cover to replace the seals and check for hidden wear/damage.
Below, the cylinders have been cleaned and repainted, the pistons have been re-ringed, the valves & their seats have been refreshed, and the rockers boxes have been cleaned.
Now its ready to be reassembled and installed in our chassis.
